Vision: The Serge team in Nairobi, Kenya exists to equip, minister, and engage with the local church through Bible storying training, soccer-based discipleship, and medical ministry. Our hope is to encourage leaders and cultivate a deeper understanding of the gospel of grace and it’s implications for all aspects of life.

The ultimate goal is to see a Kenyan church, which is (both corporately and individually) growing in understanding of the gospel, living life rooted in the gospel and more thoroughly equipped to reproduce.

mixon-george-martha-770x770George Mixon founded Serge’s chronological bible storying ministry in Kenya. This last year George has been training and handing off the majority of bible storying responsibilities to local leadership as he and his wife, Martha, have taken on the pastoral role at the local International Christian Fellowship church. George and the local leadership are using biblical narrative to communicate the gospel clearly and to enable primary oral learners to more easily and effectively reproduce biblical truths for their peers. By tying together many of the smaller narratives of Scripture this enables them to clearly understand the one big narrative of God’s redemptive plan.dscf4207
