Getting Ready for Sunday November 13 at The Crossing

Running Race of Life graphic

This week we continue our sermon series, “Running the Race of Your Life,” as Keith Simon preaches a sermon entitled, “Why Don’t I Pray More?” from John 5:19. The Scripture reads,

Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Here’s our song list for this Sunday (with links to lyrics and music):

All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name [lyrics and listen] – words by Edward Perronet (v.4 by John Ripon); music by Oliver Holden; chorus by Judah Groveman

Jesus Paid it All [lyrics; listen] – Elvina M. Hall; arranged by King’s Kaleidoscope

Christ is Risen [lyrics and listen] – Matt Maher and Mia Fieldes

Made Alive [lyrics and listen] – Brian Eichelberger and David Bolen

After year or more of political rehtoric and such a disappointing loss I was searching for something. Well I like minded individuals who were feeling that same sense deep of loss. But I still needed needed something. After two days I vmade my second vivit to Entry Point, Preparing for Sunday’s Sermon. I read the information and ok I felt better but saw the list of songs for this Sunday’s services. Listened to a little of the first few song but last one reached out to me; “He Knows My Name” that was what I needed. Looking forward to this Sunday’s service. God’s Blessings!
